The safe disposal of tires is a problem faced by many industrialized countries, Saudi Arabia included, in which there are a large number of automobile users. The rubber powder created through recycling can be used to produce asphalt and rubber sheeting.

Nabaa Al Wesal, formed by AlShair Group in 2010, offers an innovative, forward-thinking, and environmentally friendly process for creating rubber powder through recycling used and discarded tires. The safe disposal of tires is a problem faced by many industrialized countries, Saudi Arabia included. The rubber powder created through recycling can be used to produce asphalt and rubber sheeting. Rubber flooring provides padding, which creates a surface that softens the ground preventing fatigue, making it kinder to the elderly or those suffering from back pains or injuries, and preventing major cuts or dire injuries for children (unlike asphalt). Rubber is also waterproof, which makes it difficult for people to slip on any spilled liquids. Ultimately, rubber flooring is a safer bet than asphalt.
Different Types of Rubber & Functions
All rubbers are made of polyurethane (PU) primer, a mixture of PU and recycled rubber, PU colored polyurethane sealing layer and a mixture of PU and EPDM.
Spray-Coated Surface
Thickness: 13-14mm.
Properties: Quick installation and roughly structured traces are suitable for schools and amateruteur and professional running trucks.
Double Layer System
Thickness: 13-25mm.
Properties: High durability from the double layer, elasticity and abrasion resistance, and weather resistant, applied for safe ground and running.
Broadcasted Sandwich System
Thickness: 12mm.
Properties: High UV resistance, super-elastic with high shock absorption, no water permeable, suitable for training and completion.
Full PUR System
Thickness: 13mm.
Properties: Suitable for international competitions for IAAF Class, high shock absorption and abrasion resistance, outstanding competition properties, long-lasting and super-elastic, not water permeable.
Running track systems offered by NAW match international standards and waether conditions to reach the highest performance and durability in all external weather conditions.
